Grandeur of God

The Grand Canyon is a reminder that God is Grandeur in his creation. Can you imagine the beautiful colorful nature God had in mind when he created the Grand Canyon? With all its tan, white and red layers, it has taken time to produce such a beautiful sight.

That’s how the aging process is. We have layers of hope built into us through the times in our lives we have depended on God. The times we let go of God and he carried us through. Even through the times when we wandered down the wide path to destruction.

God has created us to withstand the ravages of time. Just like the Grand Canyon and all its lovely layers, we have become and are becoming what God has planned since the beginning of time.

Thank God for the aging process. We wouldn’t learn if it wasn’t for the processes we go through to learn a lesson God has for us.

We have layers and layers of instances when God was molding us to be just what He expects us to be. We were born for just such a time as this.

In some instances God has given us the grace to live life to its fullest.

God is always waiting for the right time to bring us back to the reality that He is in charge of all we attempt.

Please don’t let the ravages of time beat you up. We are a work in progress, just as the Grand Canyon is a work in progress. You will be just as beautiful to God in the end as in the beginning.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
