Light Your Candle

Light Your Candle

Every once in a while we find ourselves in that deep dark place where no light shines through.

God in his infinite wisdom has given us His Word to find our way out of the darkness and into the light.

The light in this parable is about you are the light of the world, a city set on a hill cannot be hid we find God’s word and God’s Spirit, should shining in our lives. This word in the Bible is there to give us light that we may spiritually obey the one and true God, our Father.

The light God gives us is love, and kindness, to bring us the peace that passes all understanding.

God has given us the parables as a mystery to find his world. He gave us the parables so that we may know how to come into God’s presence and dwell there. The parables were not meant for the blind or shortsighted. They were meant for his people to uncover that treasure of His kingdom. To know, know, know, Him is to love, love, love him as He has first given us love.

To know God’s Word is to find the love and light He very much desires for us to have.

We have all been in that deep dark place, only to have Jesus reveal his presence in our lives. We can overcome the deep dark places with the Saviors’ help. Time will reveal His everlasting Light. We have only to ask and it shall be given us. Praise God for His Light.

"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a candle and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on a stand and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." (Mat. 5:15 NIV)
